<p>Then call the <a href="https://www.cuyahogabdd.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities</a>. A diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder usually makes your child eligible for county services.</p>
<p>That eligibility is what unlocks support funds. Families put them toward equipment, enrichment and respite.</p>
<p>If your child is a baby or toddler, the entry point has a different name. Early Intervention in Cuyahoga County starts through Bright Beginnings, which coordinates the process while the county board delivers the services.</p></section>
